• Keys oiled
• Cracks repaired
• Bassoons checked for coverage, alignment and noises
• Bassoons checked for tension, heights, lost motion and oil
• Pads, joint corks, springs and key corks replaced where necessary

Bassoon Overhaul

Please allow 3-4 days for overhaul

• All pads and corks are replaced
• Body and keys polished and cleaned
• Tone holes are checked for correct level
• Springs changed where necessary
• Body and keys oiled
• Cracks repaired
• Keys reassembled and swedged if needed
• Instrument is adjusted and regulated
